I had four motorola gm300 stolen last night.  Just wondering if there is another place to look for the serial numbers on them other than the sticker on the back.  PS-if anyone sees a bunch (4) for sale in colo, let me know.

There is another sticker hidden from view - it's stuck on the circuit board.

In addition, all Motorola commercial programmable radios, excluding "TALKABOUT" models, have serial numbers encoded internally. The serial numbers could be retrieved through software and programming interface.  However, those internal serial number could be easily changed or even erased if someone has access to the right tools.

Good Luck,

what rlitt said.

the proper RSS software can pull up what serial number the radio thinks it is.

keep an eye on E-bay, batwing stuff sells quick there.
