"Your" and "you're" -- hands down.

Your = indicates ownership.

You're = is a contraction of you and are.

You can get away with misspelling this on an internet board; however, in most other situations it makes you look like you skipped fifth grade grammar.

"ridiculous" and "diffuse"

That's all I can think of at the moment.   I'm sure I'll be back to edit this post after spending a few more minutes here today.

EDIT:

This is more of a confusion thing, but I see "hoard" and "horde" misused constantly here.

Lots of present participle problems.

"Bathe" somehow becomes "batheing", when it should be "bathing".

It simply amazes me how bad people are at spelling and basic grammar.

Here's a couple I see quite often:

They used there old ammo first.  ---> should be ---> They used their old ammo first.
There going to the range.     ---> should be ---> They're going to the range.

Gun for sell                         ---> should be ---> Gun for sale.
I will sale it for less.                  ---> should be ---> I will sell it for less.

That ammo costs to much.   ---> should be ---> That ammo costs too much.
I will buy some to.               ---> should be ---> I will buy some too.

It's the internet not your term paper. I chicken type so sometimes I fat finger stuff, sometimes I fix it some times I don't, I hate when a thread goes off topic and turns into a Ms. English grammer discussion.

The word "site" instead of "sight", e.g. iron sights, optical sights, back-up sights, etc. This bugs me the most since this is a gun forum website. How dumb can you be?
