I know its been a while since I've done one of these so here you go.  I'll also throw in some oldies but goodies.

This was one of my gate security guards who I caught sleeping one night.  Honking the horn of my surburban within 10 feet of him didn't wake him up.  It took me shaking him to wake him.  The second photo is the same guard in the back when I had to throw him and several of our local drug dealers out of an apartment they had broken into.

Its amazing how much water can leak out of a domestic water pipe in a short period of time!!

These next three are all the same apartment after move out.  Looks like someone had some fun with a broom handle before they left!!

Boiler flame

This is why it is VERY importent to clean out your fridge before the maggots set in!!

Just dont rent to them. Might go against the fair housing act or something though. What woul dbe funny is to late at night drive through the complex with a PA system like the cops have, the ones that people on the street can hear, and say somiething to the effect that you know they have drugs in there and to come out. I wonder how many of them would flush all their stash down the toilet.

First, yes that is a solid block of ice.

Second, I don't take photos of the dead bodies I come across, not really something I wan't to commemorate.

You get used to it. I'm shocked though, that the freezer would actually do that. Guess I just never thought of it.

I've seen the little freezers on the small dorm style fridges freeze into solid blocks before, but I didn't think it could happen with a normal sized one

My family used to own two trailer parks in Tallahassee during the 70's and 80's. A total of about 80 units. All that looks very familiar, maggots, sewage, rotted out floor, dead pets, dead people, drug dealers, having to file eviction papers every month, etc, etc, etc. My brother and I used to like to rummage through the stuff people left behind, we would take music records and things like that, even found a gun once.

I bet Vanilla Gorilla knows where they are and remembers those parks, one of them was Westview Park out at Highway 20 and Geddie Road, one of the worst shitholes ever. My dad used to take me and my brother out there and drop us off all day so we could mow the 6 or 7 acres and clean the laundramat, he would come back and get us at dark, luckily nobody ever slit our throats

so how long does it take to clean that shit up?  Do you make them "good as new,' only to have them trashed again?  Man, you must make good money off that place to keep doing it.

The apartments are repaired to a state of clean safe housing that is in good repair.  Everything works.  These aren'te "gold plated", think college campus housing.

That fridge was pretty gross.  As a rule I won't open the fridges.  Got any roach pictures?  I like to take pictures of the kids in a house we just bought, and then E-mail them to friends to see what they say.  This one is about two years ago:

This is one we are working on now, about a month into it (notice fresh paint, no dog poop or roaches on the floor):
