Why the fuck would they even throw in that line about the calorie count... does it matter?!?!?!?
We all know they live one way and tell us to something different... On the other hand... do you really blame them A proper state dinner does not consist of a 2 oz chunk of boiled chicken and some rice with a small side of salad with no dressing. |

Its a bit ridiculous to complain about this. This reminds me of when I eat a doughnut and I have people tell me I can't eat it because I am a diabetic. Splurging once in a while is not hypocrisy.

Yeah... and Michael Phelps eats 12,000 calories a day. If you have ever read her message it is about eating correctly. The problem with most people is that they consume way to many calories then they burn off. She and many celebrities have the luxury of being able to go to the gym and exercising that many working people do not. If you can't burn off your intake you have to watch what you eat much more than if you are active. If you have ever heard her message it is about eating healthy and making good decisions and what you eat. I don't see they point in saying this is hypocrisy.

Listen, to keep their pelt long and healthy, not to mention glossy, an average wookie has to eat at least 3000 calories in one sitting. Haven't you read Barlow's guide to Extra Terrestrials? You guys are a bunch of backwater Terrans. |

Who fuckkin cares.
FBHO, Fuck Schumer, fuck NBC, fuck their fucking wine, fuck everybody. |

And this is what they served the door-knockers that were raising campaign funds...
"They knocked on doors for him and helped him win re-election, but when Obama supporters put on their tuxedos and ball gowns to celebrate the start of his second term in office, they feasted on pretzels, peanuts and Cheez-its. 'This is the food? I'm not too thrilled about it. It's for the birds,' said Ben Shelly, who helped mobilize support for Obama on the Navajo reservation in Arizona." Story here... |

I don't see the hypocrisy. Both the President and First Lady work out regularly. They are both fit as you can expect for a middle aged couple, and certainly more fit than 90% of their counterparts in America.

Just like everyone is supposed to do without and tighten their belt because it's patriotic but they get jetted around the world for vacations. Just like everyone is supposed to turn in their weapons of self defense while they get lifetime security. This is much ado about nothing guys. It is a state dinner, not a high school lunch.
|
|
Michelle Obama is tall and has a fairly athletic build.
It would not surprise me at all if she has a pretty high basal metabolic rate. I'm guessing she exercises too which burns more calories. Just because her plans to combat child obesity are stupid doesn't mean I care if she eats a lot at a state function. |

Yes, when red blooded American kids are getting the shaft in their school lunches because that woman has a hardon for nutrition, calorie counts for her meals are pertinent. |
