A long time, it's been here for a couple years. They just "quit" working??? I'm pretty F*cking pissed this happened the same day I was going to buy a hub... Now I can't play 4 player 1602....

They are very cheap these days, just go buy another one.
DONT open the old one up! If you must open it up, DO NOT go underneath the suction cup looking thing on the side of the CR Tube. IT WILL LIGHT YOUR ASS UP BIG TIME!!!!! |

cmon, the flyback transformer won't hurt that much.
I used to do factory refurb for compaq 20" monitors. Mine died after 5 years of abuse. I just bought a 19" envision w/ rebate for $150. The Compaq it replaced was $1500. Just as nive, much smaller pace user. Go get a new one. TXLEWIS |

They have a fuse inside them. Rip it apart and check it. If it is then cheap fix if not just put the target back together![:D][50]

It is more likely that it was a power fluctuation that caused the amp draw to increase. You just never know...He may be looking for a reason to buy a new one! BigDozer66 |

My wife's monitor did that. Turned it on and poof - no workie and a little stream of smoke out the top.
