Oh bullshit
Link Posted: 9/1/2015 11:28:37 AM EDT
seen it also
Link Posted: 9/1/2015 11:28:59 AM EDT
I doubt that.....

Does a .40 cal round have enough force to do that much damage to the hand by just going off?

Ive seen actual gunshots pictured with less damage then that shows.
Link Posted: 9/1/2015 11:29:13 AM EDT
Isnt this an old pic? I swear this was a reload issue a few years ago.

Ho Lee Shit...

ETA:  About that dude's hand.  Blaming it on the Glock, with no back story or info, is stupid.  GD will GD, though...

Hold a firecracker in your hand and light it off. Youll get burned.

Now close your hand on the same firecracker, no mo hand

How hot was that reload?

I am guessing a double charge with a really fast powder.

In before the picture of every popular hand gun brand with a KB.

The steel of the slide held together very well.  Too bad the frame wasn't steel.

Yes I am aware of how that works.... But his hand wouldn't be closed around the cartridge it would be closed around the grip. Plus the frame itself would have to absorb a ton of the energy as it breaks apart.

Still calling BS that the hand was damaged by the pistol pictured.
Link Posted: 9/1/2015 11:32:42 AM EDT
That is awful and unfortunate. Overcharged reloads?

Is it really the fault of the Glock?
Link Posted: 9/1/2015 11:32:57 AM EDT
FACEBOOK...

That means the hand pic it most likely not related to the pistol pics.
Link Posted: 9/1/2015 11:33:01 AM EDT
I'm pretty sure that won't buff out.   That's the worst injury from Kb! I've ever seen.

I'm no Glock sucker but that had to have been a damn triple charge

Glock pictures are from 2001, and this link says no injuries.
The hand pictures come up elsewhere on the internet as a motorcycle accident.

None of those photos are related.

And that hand damage ain't from a KB of any kind.

33,000 psi
Link Posted: 9/1/2015 11:36:05 AM EDT
that hand is pretty damaged.

Pressure and the constraints of metal can create some pretty nasty outcomes but this is kinda hard to believe that all conditions (ammo) where normal and this occurred.

Thank you for doing the research.

Some of you people actually think a kaboomed pistol did that to the hand.  Jesus Christ.  I've got some super duper magical widgets for sale, only 99.95, callers in the first 30 minutes get free shipping.

Just reposting what I saw. Given Glocks handgrenade tendencies not sure how you can call this an outright lie

Good catch.  You saved me some typing.

OP should feel bad.

Link Posted: 9/1/2015 11:38:32 AM EDT
Despite all the jokes, that's the first time I've seen a 'sploded hand attributed to a kaboomed Glock.

Glock Fowtays blow up regularly,  of course, but I'm not sure it would cause that much damage.   Cannot help being a little skeptical.

Do we have the back story?    Is that even a Man's hand?

FB post is bullshit. First pics of the Glock in pieces are from 2001/2008, pic of hand is unrelated to that pic, its from 2 wks ago. "Search Google for this image" is your friend.
