Hoping the hive can help me out here.

I remember reading a ad for WWII paratrooper style cargo pants only modernized, I believe I read the add in American Rifleman. Anyways they looked neat, but I have no idea what the companies name was.

Any ideas?

More civilianized I suppose, more subtle, everyday colors.

"Modern style WWII" is oxymoronic, yes?

Not "cargo" style, but you might be thinking of Bill's Khakis which offer WWII style khakis.

I find the TRU-SPEC 24/7 very comfortable and sill nice looking for cargo pants.

yeah i know LOL. but the 82nd and 101st had some differences in uniforms. subtle, such as leg ties in different colors. that is about the extent of my knowlege. Most of what I know is 82nd 3-504.

Not the ND yet....

I pulled a few back issues of SoF out of a box looking for
the "modernized repro" of WWII M-1942s, but
I haven't found the ad as yet.

But The At The Front ones do take alot of abuse,
and are ideal for Airline and rail travel.
