Depends on the school.
Is it day school or boarding.
Where do you plan On sending your Kid?
What do you wish to accomplish.

I hope to acomplish discipline problems . I have tried everything from cracking ass to grounded from everything. I have tried every thing in between and it just isn't sinking in to him .

I want him to have a better life than I did as a kid and he needs to get his self control under wraps .

The Mil school I went to had a junior high and HS program (grades 7-12)
Some local academies (variant on public schools) have it as early as 4th grade, IIRC.

Funny. As a kid I WANTED to go to military school.

My dad threatened to ship me off if I didn't behave. One of the few mistakes my dad made! I was a hellion for some time after THAT threat.
