Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Mini-30 using AK mags?

How hard would it be to make a mini-30 thaqt takes AK mags? That might possibly take the mini's of my shit list. The follower might have to be changed but the bolt should be able to stay relativly similar.

I'm not a lawyer, but IIRC if you modify the AK mag to fit the Mini, and it no longer is possible to use it in the AK, you have manufactured a "new" hi-cap mag, which is a legal no-no.
If, however, the mag is useable by [b]both[/b] rifles after mods, you're OK.
Maybe you ought to check this out in the Legal forum.
