Neat gun, reminds me of a Winchester 1895.

Found this with a search on Yahoo:

"Just prior to World War I, Daisy introduced a military model B.B gun complete with sling, dummy bolt action and rubber tipped bayonet. The Military Model 40 Daisy was basically a lever-action repeater to which was added a full military style stock. The gun was popular through the late teens and early twenties. However, few of these military models seem to have survived intact and the author has seen only one complete specimen, and that is in the Daisy museum. Surviving models are apparently rather rare."
