Mid-South Carbine Training????

Has anyone taken Carbine training at Mid-South in MS??

I'm looking for a good school with low BS level to train me and a buddy at sometime early next year on the AR-15.

We have good experience and skills now, looking to fine tune them.

Any experiences with Mid-South would be appreciated.

Rat, I've only dealt with these folks as a customer but my experience has been excellent.
(A customer buying Stoners, parts, etc.)
My experience has generally been that when people excel in any type of customer service then that excellence carries-over into all parts
of their business.
I've been invited down to Memphis this fall for
some training and may be able to tell you more
before you actually go.
(A couple of general items - be prepared to shoot right or left handed - if possible have your rifle somewhat "UNDER" scoped - these folks believe in a larger-field-of-vision.)

UNLESS YOU HAVE SOME REALLY, REALLY SERIOUS BONA FIDES, EVERYONE...NAVY SEALS INCLUDED...MUST TAKE THE PRACTICAL PISTOL COURSE PRIOR TO TAKING TACTICAL CARBINE, SUBGUN, SHOTGUN, ETC. PLEASE BELIEVE ME WHEN I TELL YOU THAT THIS AN EXTREMELY WELL-RUN OPERATION WITH CLOSE TO 20 YEARS OF CONTINUOUS OPERATION OUT OF THE PUBLIC EYE. YOU'LL LEARN TO SHOOT THE LONG GUN BETTER AND FASTER BY LEARNING TO SHOOT THE PISTOL PROPERLY...FIRST.

THE PRACTICAL PISTOL COURSE TYPICALLY RUNS MON-WED. THEN YOU SHOOT THE LONG GUN THUR-FRI. INTERMEDIATE PISTOL IS AGAIN A THREE DAY COURSE, FOLLOWED BY A 2-DAY LONG GUN CLASS OF SIMILAR INTENSITY. SPECIAL COURSES CAN BE SET UP TO MEET THE SPECIFIC NEEDS OF LARGER AGENCIES.

MID-SOUTH HAS OVER 20 SEPARATE RANGES AND TWO BULLETPROOF KILL HOUSES... SQUARE PAPER RANGES, STEEL RANGES, SEVERAL MAN-ON-MAN REACTIVE STEEL RANGES, NUMEROUS PNEUMATICALLY CONTROLLED REACTIVE STEEL RANGES FOR BOTH RIFLE AND PISTOL, COMPUTER CONTROLLED RANGES, MOVING TARGETS, BIANCHI CUP, ETC. THIS IS WHERE THE IDPA NAT'LS HAVE BEEN HELD FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS, AND WILL BE NEXT YEAR AS WELL.
