Welp, Ifinally arrived incountry. I ran into a classmate of mine from medical school, a MD with the 2nd MarDiv at Taqaddam Airfield. Since he is homeward bound, he decided to give me his U of Mich. flag wich has flown over the Surgical Platoon spaces in TQ for the last 7 months. I'll take it with me to Ramadi where I'll head a FRSS and it will fly proudly over my hooch.
We got motared (sp?) today with zero injuries. Nice welcome to TQ!  Updates to follow. NavyDoc out. Go Blue! GO Navy! (USNA was undergrad so I have to give them props!) |
