http://www.huffingtonpost.com/michael-moore/why-im-posting-bail-money_b_796319.html
Yesterday, in the Westminster Magistrates Court in London, the lawyers for WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange presented to the judge a document from me stating that I have put up $20,000 of my own money to help bail Mr. Assange out of jail. Furthermore, I am publicly offering the assistance of my website, my servers, my domain names and anything else I can do to keep WikiLeaks alive and thriving as it continues its work to expose the crimes that were concocted in secret and carried out in our name and with our tax dollars. -Foxxz |

Obese shitbag with counterfactual tendencies sucking up to an actual journalist.

There are a LOT of others doing the same... just sayin'
Fuck Moore but he's a bandwagoner in this, not a lone ranger. Seems important to make that distinction clear for some reason. |

Quoted: There are a LOT of others doing the same... just sayin' Fuck Moore but he's a bandwagoner in this, not a lone ranger. Seems important to make that distinction clear for some reason. True. He's been out of the light for awhile...he HAD to do something controversial . |

Quoted: Funny whos supporting this guy. Here and other places. Here's what I've heard... Celebrity supporters of Assange at the hearing included Bianca Jagger, who sat next to Fatima Bhutto, niece of the late Pakistani politician Benazir Bhutto and current Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, and prominent left-wing journalist John Pilger. Socialite Jemima Khan came to court but it is not clear she got into the very crowded hearing room. Many were turned away for lack of space. And obviously Michael Moore, do you know of others? |
|
Quoted: couldn't they just share the same cell? Of course not. Have you seen Michael Moore? |

funny? nothing funny about it. i hate moore and dont mind assange. so far moore just makes shit up, and assange just makes copies of stuff. Quoted:

Quoted: assange just makes copies of stuff. Same with the Rosenbergs. Consequences should be the same too. |

Here and other places. Why do you "not mind" Assange? So far he seems hell bent on fucking with America... I kinda do mind that. Now if he'd release some Russian or Chinese or Iranian cables, I'd mind him a little less... but what the fuck? I think this whole case against him is based on bullshit and I have a big problem with it... But I don't think he's just some swell dude. |

I thought the fat bastard was at fat camp!
Lack of food will be his excuse later when this bastard gets wacked! |
|
This could be great. The fat bastard in front of a firing squad for treason. Finally an excuse to legally shoot the bastard. I say we get Clint Eastwood to carry out his threat!

He began his career leaking stuff about corrupt African dictators and shady banks in Iceland. He is about to release some stuff on Russia, and China fears and loathes him, and has already blocked his site. I'd say this is not just about the US. Our government is just the one that has complained the most so far, and as a result, we have made him famous. |

What's odd is Asange has publicized information that looks bad on Obama and the government he is head of. I would think Moore (being the liberal /socialist he is) would not want to help the man that gave Obama and liberal government a black eye.

And for the love of all that's HOLY, who is going to clean up that mess? moore is the epidimy of slothiness |

Assange is in jail for rape charges, not Wikileaks. Also, he has not been charged with anything by the US.

I just read a German Newspaper (online) and they are not letting him out. Sweden files a motion against his release.

Can't wait to see a fellow American killed for not breaking any laws eh? Freedom isn't free. I agree, care to expand on what you mean by that in this context? Seriously. Im fed up with all the bumper-sticker philosophy flying around on this. The majority of us here at this site are very big on Constitutional rights, and part of being up on the constitution is recognizing that people are going to do things you do not like with those rights. I fucking loathe Michael Moore, and while I honestly believe much of what hte man does to be libel and slander, if those who he does it against don't speak up, then he gets away with it. AND THAT IS HOW IT SHOULD BE. Period. Stop. End of fucking story. The first amendment exists for the express purpose of protecting unpopular speech. If I decide I want to stand on a public street corner ranting about how my cat is the emporer of green jello, I have every right to do so. If Michael Moores donut stuffed ass wants to make deciteful films full of easily proven fallacies, he has every right to do so. Just as I have every right to call him a fat lying bastard (by decree of my Cat, Scooter, Emporer of green Jello, Peace be upon him). Enough about tubbo. Julian Assange is a symptom, not a disease. HE IS NOT AN AMERICAN CITIZEN. As such he has broken no laws that I am aware of. On the other hand, Private Fruity-Pants (who has single-handedly set back gay rights by at least half a decade, good fucking job ace!) IS GUILTY AS SIN. If it wasn't for Private Manning, Juilan Assange would be a fucking nobody. The crime that has been commited here is by him. Now, this said, the moment Assange started threatening consequences (the relaease of the list of critical sites) in the event of his arrest and/or conviction, things changed. He is now guilty of making terrorist threats. This is some thin ice for an argument, but I think it should be explored. Anyways, for the TL:DR crowd, enough with the fucking bumper-sticker wisdom. This community is smarter than that, and it'd be nice to have some outsiders show up, veiw a thread, and think that maybe, just maybe, AR-15 enthusiasts are something other than a bunch of tin-foil-hat 'Muricans who eat fox news, wipe our mouths with confederate flags and shit pictures of crying eagles. I am a Libertarian, but Im getting sick of the fucking shallow nature of some of this. /rant off |

Actually, I'm pretty certain that Moore could legitimately get hit for espionage and treason charges for this. Shame our current administration approves of this behavior.

Shame our current administration approves of this behavior. What are you talking about? Eric Holder has already expressed that he wants to have Assange extradited and pursue charges. Anyone who suggests that Michael Moore is somehow aligned with the Obama administration on this issue simply hasn't been paying attention. |

That's interesting. Like all the secret backdoor deals that the Democrats have been doing?
He is such a hypocrite. |
