Had one of these earlier in the year so let's try out another one. Whoever answers the question correctly asks the next question.
Who was the first person shown riding in Crocketts Testarossa? |
Do you ride in your car or do you drive your car? |
Both. |
d'oh! |
It was season 3 and he picked the rider up at the airport cuz some feds were chasing after him for a videotape
Was it JJ from Goodtimes? |
the dude with the videotape got back from Nicaguara or something, sort of bald headed, I remember that episode |
Nope The "rider" had a video which showed American troops in Nicarauga (sp) |

I don't know the actor's name, but the character was named IRA and he was a reporter. G. Gordon Liddy was a guest star. Correct?
CORRECT!!!!!!!!! |
Organization of Competitive Bodybuilders |
Name the person mentioned in a Deep Purple song that was a guest star on Miami Vice.
Frank Zappa |

That episode had a lot going for it. I remember G. Gordon Liddy laying a "necklace" of Sandanista soldiers ears on a board room table as proof of action. I didn't know who G. Gordon Liddy was until a friend was watching it with me later.
Peter Gabriel's "Red Rain" was music for the scene when the hit man kills the female reporter. I bought the cassette it was on after that (pre-CD when I saw it). Later, same hit man is firing a .22lr pistol into Ira's thigh as a torture technique. I was impressed with the actor that played the hit man. He was pretty convincing. I haven't seen that episode in 15 years. I'm surprised I recall that much. |
Nope. It's a reference to Vice's building, where they all have their desks and offices |
Organized Crime Bureau And the building name was the Gold Coast Shipping company |
It's a good episode, I just picked up Season 3 at Best Buy the other day. |
What kind of car did Gina drive? |

One of my favorite lines from all of TV came from G.Gordon Liddy on Miami Vice playing "Captain Real Estate" The Winey Reporter 'Ira Stone' was going to Blackmail Liddy's CIA operative character over the herion that Mr. Bad Guy had smuggled back from vietnam in the coffins of dead GIs. - (Ya right & whatever!) Anyhow - Geeky reporter shows up to get his shakedown money and then G. Gordon Liddy gives him the classic line about "Currency... Money or Pain" just before he shoots geek in the gut with a 1911. I also remember this episode because the highly experienced Nung Mercenary / bodyguard of Captain Real Estate (that is in his element in the Jungle with an AK-47) gets popped by Crockett when the AK-17 safety is switched off by the Nung and the safety release goes "CLACK" while the Nung is is hiding in the bushes waiting to ambush Crockett... Note to self. If you think you need to use your AK, especially if ambushing an armed adversary, for God's sake don't be a total duffus, Have the Damned Safety OFF BIGGER_HAMMER If anyone can find a You-Tube clip of that Great lecture on the Difference in Currency between Money & Pain between Liddy and Stone I'd be grateful if they would post it! |
I think that the guy had a M16 and switched it from semi to auto, I'll have to dig out the DVD to make sure. |
I just started watching season 1, I watched that show every Friday back in the day and was pissed when the cancelled it.
Bingo |
Wasn't there an episode towards the end that involed a UFO |
Here's a question/
The "hitwoman" in the pilot was killed in the end. Wasn't that the same guy that played an informant in other episodes? |
He looks A LOT like Izzy Morano |
Yes. Martin Ferrero played both parts.
He was also in Heat. When Val Kilmer's character was buying construction explosives he was the clerk. |
Yep. |
You know, I do think you are RIGHT on that. How about that. The Loud sound of the Release of the M-16 safety. (ha Ha HA!!!) If you have that episode, I'd kill to get a rip of the Money or Pain speech by G. Gordon Liddy! Thanks BIGGER_HAMMER |

Here's one for you. What actor played the only villian to never be caught or killed in Miami Vice. Hint* He was in more than one episode.
I wanna say Dennis Farino (I think thats his name, always played something mob related in movies.) as Al Lombard, but he did eventually die by Labrizzi's hitmen when he came back because of his son. He promised Crockett he wasnt going to kill Labrizzi. After Al got shot, Crockett said "Al you promised your werent going to do anything stupid." Al said something like I didnt Crockett... you killed him. It was the episode with Al coming back to visit his grandson. I think Phil was only in one episode. "Phil the Shil" LIFE IS A RAT RACE! LOL Make you feel like jou is in Flori-da! We are in Florida Izzy! SEE! Its working already! I am seeing... Hemingway-esque! |
Did they ever catch/kill Calderone? |
Yes. In front of Calderones daughter. Tubbs shot him as he dropped into the swimming pool with Crockett shooting bad guys with an MP5 with his hands tied. You know... Now that I think about it... Did Calderones son die on the Island episode with Tubbs??? Dammit! Cant remember if he did die or not. It was John Liguazamo that played him, but I cant remember if he got killed or not. Crapola! Last you heard of him was when they setup Tubbs by him winning a free vacation to some island paradise with him and his flavor of the week. |
Yep. Episode name was 'The Afternoon Plane'. Weakest ending to the 'Calderone' arc they could have possibly come up with, but oh well. |
"Out Where The Buses Don't Run" (?) was my favorite Vice episode.

Answer: G. Gordon Liddy brags about being the only villian to never be apprehended in the series. Episodes "Back in the World" (1985) and "Stone's War" (1986) he played a character referred to as Mr. Real Estate. He (Gordon) used to tell some great stories about Don Johnson and him raising hell when not filming. |
