See it's not like Mexico has no money, they just want to shove the impoverished ones completely out of their country and into ours.

The Mexican American was has some pretty interesting history in it that rarely gets told in schools.

I was just looking it up now.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Mexico_City

I turned up this following thing that I didnt know much about.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Patrick%27s_Battalion

Apparently enough Irish, and other Catholic Americans defected to help fight for Mexico.

Looks more like someone threw up in the sky.

Yeah there is some really iteresting architecture like some of those fancy apartment and skyscrapers look pretty cool.

If I was insanely rich, and had the money for bribes and stuff I'd like to live in one of those places and look down at all the rest of the peasants.

That is my worst nightmare. Some of the new "communities" outside of Portland don't look a hell of a lot different.

Cheers

Really? I guess all those signs I see in Mexico that say Ciudad Mexico or Ciudad de Mexico need to be changed... Same with all the flight announcements at the airports...

True, If you ask a resident of Mexico City where they live. The answer will always be D.F. (Dee Efee)

Interesting. And to think that much of Mexico City is built on landfill (not terra-firma). A really big earthquake (above 7 on the scale) would flatten much of that city.

Not to mention the fact that Mexico city is nested between volcanoes
