I bumped into Combat_Diver while transiting through LSA Anaconda on my way to R&R. The man is a class act and loves to talk guns. And yeah, he showed up with his M14 with an EOTECH on it.

CD, thanks for the loan of the M4 while I was there.

I already turned in my M4 for the trip home and was feeling a little naked without it. He lent me his M4 while I was there.

TANGOCHASER: If you got any pictures, can you please post them?

TC,

No problem on the loan. Enjoyed the conversations and enjoy the Heffe Weissen. I also met the next day another ARFcom member KMFDM. He's another gun lover and we talked alot about the 6.8. Did another uneventful convoy today. All I ask for is a clear field of fire.

How did you know? Flash the secret hand signals or something?

I have met folks affiliated with the site at locations other than the usual get togethers, because one of us was wearing an ARFCOM affiliated T-shirt.

He was eating pie and stuffing it in some terrorist's pooper... pics to be posted later!

I thought maybe he heard his CO use the term MARPAT and shouted, "In before the lock!"

There's probably a few ARFs that meet here and don't even know it. I live in Anaconda.

If you ever see one of the few tanks driving around here, it's an excellent chance I'm in the TC's hatch.

Wow, small world! You guys take care over there. Thanks for your dedication. Agree with the get pics posts. We can never get enough action shots but also take some of Iraqi folks that are appreciative of what you are doing for them. All we ever hear is the bad things, proof of the good things would be invaluable! Thanks again!

We've been talking on the high side (military web) and I got his phone number. I called him when I hit the ground in his neighborhood. Took me awhile to get down and see him. The roads aint exactly safe for normal traffic.

No pics as we hung out in a picture restricted area. Maybe on my return trip.

CD,
I'll give you a ring when I get back after R&R. I won't be on a time schedule and I hope I'm not so damn tired on the way back.
