I live not far from Amish country..about 1/4 of the world's Amish live out that way. In Sugarcreek Oh, there is a Amish gunshop.. The guy sells bolt action rifles, shotguns of all kinds Kimber and S.A. 1911's Ruger handguns, rifles. scopes ,you name it and is'nt the least bit scared of the occasional Ar,AK, that may come in the door. Prices are fair..carries reloading supplys at a fair price, his powder prices are usually a little bit better than anyone else around here. Kinda odd to see some buggy's parked out front, but hey, it's Amishland... I do remember I went out there once last spring...and he was just putting a pre-ban Colt AR back in the box...He got it in a trade, and told me, "this one's going across the street"pointing to his house.... So, yeah, Amish, Mennoites, own guns...some of them own lots of them...and around here, they aren't the only ones ingoring hunting regulations regarding deer.
