So after my girlfriend bugs me to wake up and take her home (she has a strict mom and can't really spend the night all the time). I drop her off and am driving home and I look down the road and see what looks like people crossing the road and then falling so I throw on my high beams and fog lights (driving an F150 FX4) and slow down to see what's going on (I thought it was some kids fighting).

Well as I slow down two of the guys run away (assuming bad guys from the story I got) and I make sure the guy is okay that was starting to get the shit beat out of him.  He says he's okay and a few more guys come up behind my truck and say the guys were drinking with them at the bar earlier and seemed a bit sketchy. This whole time I was unarmed and felt somewhat uncomfortable even though I was in my vehicle

Lesson learned: even though I'm in a good area I need to keep my .45 in my truck still

Oh and I've driven this road probably close to 500 times at night and never see anyone out there at 1am

Unfortunately,  I'm not 21 so I can't carry. But since I live in FL I'm allowed to keep a pistol in my glove box

Watching random drunks fighting was my only entertainment back in L.A. I miss those days.

drove up on a gangfight many years ago in chicago, and had a full bottle of gin thrown through my car window.the seal was still intact on cap.it cut my arm up pretty bad,I made it to a close fire station, and they had to call me an ambulance.the cop was pretty cool,he picked me up at the hospital, and took me to my car.same type of situation,i just dropped my girlfriend off,and had to go through a bad area to get home.

stuff like that is why  I always had a .45 and a short-barrelled 870 in my truck when i worked night shift in Houston.

You guys don't know how good you got it being able to even have the option to carry a loaded gun whether it be on your person or vehicle. Well I'm sure you do know how good you got it, but fuck you guys anyway, lol. me sad and jealous

Stay in your truck and let them fight, you never know what you're getting into. If they're friends, they might decide to beat your ass together.
