Meetup has always served as an organizing platform for a wide range of political views, welcoming everyone from the Howard Deaniacs to the Tea Party. Meetup will always welcome people with different beliefs.
But after the recent executive order aimed to block people on the basis of nationality and religion, a line was crossed. At a time when core democratic ideals feel under attack, we feel a duty to spark more civic participation. Last week, we created 1,000+ #Resist Meetup Groups to act as local hubs for actions on behalf of democracy, equality, human rights, social justice, and sustainability. Already 50,000+ people have joined. These #Resist Meetups are open to anyone who want to create a bright future that's rich with opportunity and freedom for all. Meetup exists to connect people so they create opportunity and make the world they want. We hope members take these Meetups forward to be powerful together |

"five men is a juicy opportunity....one man is a waste of ammo..."

I just got the same email, and promptly terminated my account. Fuck meetup - it was packed with Atlanta leftists anyway.

Seems like a good chance to sign up and have intelligence about the enemy's activities delivered right to your Inbox.
Learn protest locations, bust out MAGA gear, and troll the hell out of the libtards. |
|
Now if they only put this much effort into Making America Great.

I just got one too. I belonged to Meetup for IT related stuff.
I'm not going to cancel, it will be good to know when/where the meetings are. That way I can plaster the venue with leftover Trump stickers :D . |

You dummies.. You can become the leader of the local group and schedule the protests to happen in the wrong places at the wrong times!
|
|
Can we setup anti-trump protests as well? I've a few places in mind that if a few hundred antifa troops showed up, things could get weird real quick.
|
|
Got it too. I used to run a gun related meetup.
Cancelled and unsubscribed from emails. Fuck them |
|
I want to go and counter protest.
What kind of material for my sign handle? Oak, steel, aluminum. I want something that can deliver a good stun to the forehead while the sign is still attached, and also swing effectively once the sign gets ripped off. "Trump wins again! Suck it bitches." |
|
Yea got the same email, unsubscribed at work, don't need that crap.

Should be getting people on our side into these groups to see what they're planning.
|
|
This is a good thing.
When the enemy typically looks and sounds like any other neighbor getting them to out themselves in a visible way makes identifying them a snap when the time comes. It's intel. |

View Quote I belong to an area Meetup that's focused on trail bicycling, and has a pretty broad cross section of humanity as fellow members. Will be interesting to see what sort of mention this stuff gets when the group is out on our weekly rides. |

I signed up for a Texas city's Pro-Immigrant protest. I pointed out how helpful it was for illegals to assemble in one place and that I'd be informing CIS of the time & location. Win, win for everyone concerned!

I got this today also. Very disheartening to see them be so dishonest and whiny.

got it as well
also hit this up and flood them with negative sign ups https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeF764MKrkaGlgay6o1eYz4GfuiwnBLiVZghJklYEExP9-x-w/viewform?c=0&w=1&fbzx=627598147057649300 |

Yep, I belong to a few hiking meet-up groups, and I got the same email.

I got the same email and ending up sending a message to the organizer.
Here's his reply. "So disappointed with the Meetup endorsement of this polarizing site. My response .... Aren't you sanctimonious in this decree. Do you honestly feel that creating this Meetup group will be a constructive venue for our nation? Your understanding of history and current events is sorely bereft of factual information and blindly influenced by the biased sources that stream our airwaves and printed media. Stooping to align yourself with societal misfits is cowardly. Get a grip on reality and shed yourself of your lemming-like, perverted actions in support of the malcontents and purported disenfranchised. Richard Wachter, Meetup Organizer ...I blasted him a nice response and haven't heard back again. I would suggest that everyone email their displeasure instead of canceling the subscription. Why let them take it away from you?? |

I use meetup.com to find people to shoot with. Been going to the indoor range for the past year with the Suburban Anti-Zombie Association.

Fuck it, let's infiltrate these groups. Learn our enemy, and cause disruption when and where we can.
