Guys, Aggie1 just got me edumacated on the IM. I had IM's going clear back to November. I was not aware of it, so did not intend to ignore those of you who requested assistance, etc. G & B, sorry to not render assistance when you needed it. Campybob, the hubcabs were already gone, but sorry to not let you know. ColtShorty, smack me upside the head next time I see you. Oneshot1kill, that was touching. I am VERY glad you ended up okay. You are a good man. BMahoney, you do a very important job. It probably is tough at times, but important nevertheless. X-Kill, your IM worked, I just wasn't swift enough to notice the flashing thingy. EricTheHun, I will be reading [b][u]THE PRAIRIE[/u][/B] at my earliest opportunity. Anyway, guys, thanks for being cordial and trying. My bad. Now I know.

BWAHAHAHAHA [:D] I'm glad I'm not the only one. And I consider myself somewhat tech savvy. For about a month I was wondering why that globe was blinking. Never thought about clicking on the damn thing till I got bored one nite. And much like you I had few in there.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, I knew the icon was there & still I've not noticed it flashing for weeks on end.

Maybe GB could insert some kind of sound program into it [?][?]

And move it's location over a couple of places so us tight wads with 15" monitors won't have to scroll over to see if it's blinking!!![;)]

...and I thought I was the biggest dumbass because I just realized what that little flashing red light was just a few weeks ago. I still don't notice it flashing sometimes.

I've asked GB to move it to the left, and make it more visible as well. He replied that those things would be done in concert with a general upgrade/revision of the IM module. It's on his list, somewhere.

Well, I don't feel so silly now. Raf indicated that he had sent me an IM. I wasn't going to let it be known that I didn't know how to retrieve it. Now I know. Got your message raf. Had one from December from ARDOC that I didn't know about. DUH!!!! At least now I know I am not the only one.

I sent raf one without knowing how to use it, and never realized he'd replied. Then when I actually checked it, I deleted it without reading. Problems with technology.

Hey ........no problemo.

Took me a while even to click on the damned thing after noticing it.

I was a bit concerned about a crystal ball looking thingamajig in some chaps hand.

Oh well.................actually the IM is pretty neat once you get used to using it.

beekeeper.. don't feel alone on this issue. After reading this post, found I had IM's from Nov-Dec also. Not much for an indicator of IM!.. GB needs to come up with "incoming" announcement of sort.
