Marines Disband Fallujah Forces

United Press International reports that the “Fallujah Brigade” and the Iraqi police department in Fallujah will be dissolved next week:

The move came six days after a series of kidnappings and the murder of a respected Iraqi National Guard battalion commander, Lt. Col. Sulaiman Hamad Ftikan, a crime officials described as the last straw in the tense standoff with the insurgents in the city.

Both the Fallujah Brigade and the city police are believed to have participated in the kidnapping and murder.

Round 2 will last 15 minutes.
Until we have the enmey on the run, cornered and nearly defeated. Then we will pull back and allow them to rearm and reorganize. We wouldn't want to take advantage of the situation would we?

This is a political battle, that is incidentally using Marines as chess pieces. Wouldn't be bad if they would just hold the friggin ground the Marines give them.

These guys have been dirty from the get go. You should dig up the real scoop on this Brigade, not the bull shit the press reports. Most of these assholes have been fighting on both sides of the fence.

Looks like I'll be getting over there again just in time to finish up some business.
