Apparently, he missed with every shot but its interesting to watch the others seemingly wait around for their turn to get shot in the face as opposed to taking cover. Normalcy bias? |

Fox News says no-one hurt but the shooter. Sure looked like that first guy took one in the chest, but guess not.

Kind of off topic, but this was a related video.

Tubby sure can roll around with the best of them. I wonder how many rounds he absorbed?

Wow. Why did he shoot the floor? Definitely. Look at it again, it scared him. Good on whoever was putting rounds in his back. |
|
Damn, the biggin just sat there only moving after several shots.

1. Instead of trying to calmly talk the guy down - they were verbally sparring with him, using pointed fingers etc. Baaaad idea. They did nothing to calm him.
2. If they had bolted - he was going to shoot them anyway. Dive under the desk and unless SB security intervened with gunfire - he will just walk around the back and shoot you cowering on the floor. It was lose-lose once he was in front of them with a gun. He was 100% ready to fire - even if his aim was poor. I would have bolted and taken my chances - but the first one to move is going to draw fire first. 3. Security probably didn't have a good shot from the rear due to the board members - and probably held back in his blind spot not wanting to provoke gunfire. Sucky positioning. Once he raised the gun then it would be last chance to bolt and take your chances. The optimal time to bolt is the first instant you see a gun produced. |

Good thing the shooter had no clue on how to hold a handgun.
The reaction from the school board is exactly what I expected. Just fucking sit there and let the guy shoot. Nobody rushed him or fought. Bunch of worthless sheeple. |

Aside from being armed there's nothing they could have done except be calmer about it. |

those people need to sack up, and jump that guy. That would of been my first impulse. The odds of getting shot is low, just charge him. So you get hit big deal. Your adrenaline will keep you going for a while. sad to see that guy beg not to get shot, no one even moved
|
|
Fuck that, I'd be dumping a mag into that fat piece of shit.
I'll be goddamned if I ever sit around and wait to get shot. |
|
weird thing was someone shot him, but they should of did it earlier
I want to see the whole video too |

The woman with the purse was the only man in that room...but I am talking out of my ass since I have never been in that situation.
But if that guy would have been slightly skilled with that handgun they would be replacing the entire Panama City School Board. |
|
Wow, there was so much stupid in that video. I don't know what was dumber, the gunman accidently shooting the floor, or the school board and the way they casually got on the floor, like they were avoiding fire from a water gun.

Quoted: http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/crime/2010/12/14/vo.florida.school.shooting.WJHG?hpt=T1 So CNN stops the video portion when the bullets really start flying. Fucking pussies. |

"As opposed to taking cover"...ever think that that might have drawn his attention to them? They have no where to go that isn't exposed once he opens up.They're against a wall with a long way to go on either side to get out of his effective range. |

I saw the other video where the lady hits him with the bag, everyone still kept seated. Like they are watching a movie. This is what all this censored media does to everyone. Show everything on tv and let people know what really happens. They just sit there eating popcorn
|
|
the woman with the bag had balls. But why did no one help her??
she was brave but stupid. She could have easily caught one in the head |
|
I thought I heard the news say it was a blank gun, but maybe he's just a bad shot.
edit. he sprayed the V on the wall just before pulling the gun |

I live in the area. Mike Jones is the Bay District School Police Chief. He is a retired police officer and is the only police officer employed by the school board (department of safety, security/police). The local sheriff's office provides School Resource Officers under contract for the schools. Here's a little kicker, security was an issue earlier this year when due to budget cuts they reduced the number of SRO's for the schools.
I know some people think Mr. Husfelt (the commisioner) got into it with the guy, but in all honesty I think he did pretty damn well and displayed some character considering this happened so quick. At least he kept other people back and told the gunman that if he was upset, it should be with him alone and to let the other board members go. |

That lady was brave, but it was a stupid and pathetic attempt on that guy.
Watching that, I don't think that guy really wanted to kill anyone... you don't miss hitting someone from across a desk. maybe seeing that lady freak out, and crumple on the floor in fear after hitting him with her purse gave him second thoughts about actual killing.... |
|
Jesus H., Between the dumbasses that sit on these school boards and city councils and the dumbasses they fuck with to the point that they're shooting at folks I don't know who to cheer for.

i want to see the whole video.
The CNN one is edited as fuck, although it shows alot more of the non-shooting part. The other video does not show the end you can hear (but not see) in the CNN video when the bullets really start flying. |
|
fucking idiot
fucking idiots everyone in the video was a retard, except for the guy who shot the shooter. Brownie point for him. |
|
Here is a unedited video that shows the whole thing up until bullets fly. Still cuts out just after he goes down, but it shows the complete conversation prior (and is not all framed up)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQjQOlJvMzE Shows one interesting thing. Security comes in long before he starts shooting, and even introduces himself before he sees the gun. He leaves (to call the cops no doubt), and the gunman says "he probably doesn't have a gun " or something. IF he did have a gun on him at that time, i am not sure what to think about the decision to not act before the nutbar started trying to shoot people. |
