Total rip off.
Performance artist, Chris Burden did that back in 1974. It's been done. Burden did it on stage, before an audience. It was a piece titled "The Velvet Water". He attempted to breath water, again and again until he was unconscious. Burden also predated Jackass, in that he was shot in the arm with a .22 for a piece. Not my cup of tea, but as Spotswood said in "Team America"... "That's commitment!" |

Dang, I watched the stupid video. OK I'm at the office, so I didn't have the sound on.
Some fool lays down in a bathtub half filled with water. His accomplice places ONE concrete block on him. He holds his breath underwater for about ONE minute, sputters, and his buddy removes the concrete block, and a third fellow helps drag him out of the tub. He lays around then kind of moves his arm. I would be all FOR National Endowment for the Arts  if they would sponsor EFFECTIVE Drownings for the Sake of Art OK, maybe I missed out on the artistic merit of this performance because I had the sound off. But I seriously doubt it. |

He didn't drown is bullshit. I have never seen CPR performed without chest compressions. MOst drowning vic's vomit and expell water when the are revived. Its BS!

+1 BILLION This is total bullshit...he didn't really take in any water...the mouth-to-mouth "breaths" were way too short (from what I know)...his "friends" were far too calm....and he didn't expel any water. What a crock of shit. |
