Somone is running some adds around here about how the dems have turned their backs on the black community, how it's not Bush and the repubs that are hurting them but rather the dems that are holding up all these bills and programs as a way to hurt the president and make him look bad. how the dems are playing election year politics and using the black community as a pawn by holding up programs and issues they want and than saying bush is't helping you he won't do this or that. They mention than all the things the pres has done or tried to do and how the dems have screwed the pooch. There pretty good adds. better than the hype/BS of the anti-bush ads.

If I have my facts correct it was the Republicans that voted FOR civil rights for all people back in the 60's , not the Democrats . They(the dems) were against it. As far as I know. Anybody back this up?
