Please no generalized bashing of LEOs - I've been assured that you will be banned for doing so. Also, I don't want to see this one locked as the last one was.
The short version: youtube.com/watch?v=5D5h62Ek89Q The 9-minute version: youtube.com/watch?v=rziO6a_Li6E The lead-up, which happened sometime prior to the videos above: youtube.com/watch?v=qSNcVjpX-9Q |

unbelievable, what state is this ?
i wonder who was video taping this hit to the back of the head, thats totally uncalled for lmao his alarm goes off |
I understand it's near Detroit, Michigan. |
what rights did he violate?
what rights of his were violated why wasn't anyone procecuted? are there any lawsuits pending? |
Supposedly he wouldn't shut off his car alarm. (I wouldnt shut mine off in detroit)
He was bashed in the skull 3-4 times with the butt of a shotgun and arrested for not going back in his house.

fixed. |
I understand from the other (now locked) thread that it was sometime in 2004. |
video was dated the 9th. so who knows im sure this isn't in the michigan newspaper |
They state twice that they want to kill him, that they need to get him out of the house.
I like "did anyone tape this?" YEP! |
If I were to come up behind a random individual, and strike him in the back of the head several times with a long gun, a few strikes of which were performed when he was on the ground, what would I be charged with, as a non-LEO?
DID this actually happen? Or is it made up? |
Hu? |
It happened, none of them were charged. Although (referenced the locked thread) the one with the shotgun was fired later for losing tickets if the ladies he pulled over let him screw them. |
Real stand up guy. |
After wathcing the vids I can say that those officers deserve to be beat down the same way they beat that man down.
WHO IN THE FUCK IS FILMING THIS?
the cops walked right past the camera a couple of times... did the 'drunk' homeowner have the sense to mount a hidden camera? something isn't adding up here |
Just one more step to a marshal law country this stuff is happening way to much. I am sure Hitlary loved watching this video.
Well if I had had problems with a neighbor who had some sorta connections to people willing to abuse their power, I'd have a camera or two up. |
If the guy getting the beat-down is a known 88 [hence the sieg heil comment by the cop] then maybe the popo had prior run-ins with this guy that led up to this further escalating the situation. If it's only because of a noisy car alarm, then that's f'd up.... <comment deleted CoC violation> |
Those have to be the one of the most disgusting abuses I have seen in a long time.
Do any of our resident frequent apoligists have anything to justify that beating? Any legit reason at all? |
I think he meens in the front yard just like he was. As in not in the house where he can grab a weapon . |
That makes sense. |
Then why would they order him back into the house after harassing him? So he could then go grab a weapon? |
Aggravated assault, assault with a deadly weapon, or both. |
Not all LEO think the same do they ? |
Hmmm... I think car alarms should be banned. The owners never hear them, or care. It's everyone else who has to lie awake for hours listening to the goddamned things. Quite honestly, I'd like to buttstroke the inconsiderate assholes who leave their car alarms to go off all night long. |
You mean the hidden camera that the first officer waved to? |
He should have gone back in the house, called 911, and reported that his truck was being stolen by armed men.
Interestingly, if you did that, you'd have been arrested, thrown in jail, and taken before a judge. But I digress. Now, back to reading my copy of Animal Farm.. |
IMO, the guy was either drunk, high or some type of mental case. If I'm towing his vehicle in a stiuation like that I would rather have eyes on than watching for him over my shoulder. Firearms owernship might be low in Detroit by it's 50%+ here. |

From the video leading up to it. Sounds like the cops did get in trouble - but the reasons for the events are not crystal clear. |
The way he hit him when he was down, I would have assumed attempted murder. I guess it depends on the context of the situation though. |
Let me guess...the clip where the LEO hoses the female fast-food worker for "failing to give him change", which she actually DID give him...? |
The cop & O.J. had the same defense team? |
no |
It's a cop thing, you wouldn't understand! |
Agreed.
Well, seeing as how this thread is drawing our resident "JBT" callers like moths to a flame and I addressed several issues in the (now locked) original thread, I'll let Bama handle this one.
As I mentioned above, the "description" is slightly editorial in quality, and I'd love to see the entire video from 10 minutes before the knock on the door all the way through the end. I still agree that the hits with the shotty were grossly unwarranted. Oops. I suppose, as an "apoligist" (sic) I should hide behind the ________ and say that he deserved it, if only to fulfill the tinfoil fantasies of the badge beaters here. |

The lead in video is heavily edited. Numerous comments by the LEO's are in obvious response to something the person inside the house has said but his comments were edited out. While many of the comments are not professional they are far from criminal. Later when they come back for the truck it's obvious the previous statements were nothing more than banter. He was not immediately beat down. The man was told why the truck was being towed. I lost track of the number of times the officer asked often saying please for the man to go back inside the house.
At the point he was told he was under arrest based on whatever their state laws that apply. The hit to the head/spine area is violation of most UoF rules that I know of that do not involve deadly force. |
