Another crime in the daily epidemic of black on white violence.
If 4 white men did the same crime to a black family, we would never stop seeing TV news programs about it. Reverse the races and the government/media does not care. 
The family had just returned from vacation to their home on Sumter Street in northwest Atlanta around 7:30 p.m. Sunday when someone knocked on their door. Police said Whitney grabbed her infant daughter and the suspects fired twice at her and the baby, but missed. She ran to a neighbor's home.

Given, I live in a really, really safe community, out in the woods. (Private Hunting / Fishing community.) But the way my house is set up, I can see who's at the door from my kitchen. Which means, I wouldn't answer the door sans a gun. |

Unfortunately even the nice neighborhoods have break ins. Short of a gated hood (even that doesn't stop it all) it will continue to happen. After some discussions with Local Police, they have said that the houses closest to interstates get hit the most as the bad guys can hit there house and then hop on the interstate and be on the southside in 10 minutes. |
