I was at work yesterday afternoon, about to leave, when a girl just coming on for the night shift asked me to stay and work for her. She said she just 'didn't feel like working'.
Not a big deal, but I had plans and didn't want to cover for her. However, she refused to drop it, and followed me around asking me at least ten times. After the second time, I had already decided I wouldn't do it no matter what, just because she was bugging me about it.
Finally, just before I left for the day, she shouted "See if I ever do anything for YOU again!"
This morning at work she came up and laughed at me, because I had to stay longer than I had hoped to cover for someone who didn't come in on time. Apparently we are enemies now, or something.
What I want to know is, how is any of this my fault? She is too lazy to work, but since I won't drop my Saturday night plans to work eight hours for her, I am a bad guy? Not to mention that there were 40 other people there yesterday, and none of them worked for her either.
This BS with blaming other people for your problems/irresponsibility has got to stop. She wants me to feel guilty about not bending over backwards to accomodate her, and that attitude is driving me crazy.
You guys know anybody like this?
