Wow

that's a lot of money for that.

I'm sure it's well built though.

And it's better than an Armalite or DPMS how?

What am I missing here??

Base Model $2,485.00
Base Model comes complete with A2 Rifle Stock and A2 Grip as shown above, plus two M110-compatible, 20-round magazines. Scope, rings and bipod not included in price.

Ehhh...I like Larues shit but $3,000 is a bit on the freakin' high side.

For that kind of dough I'd have to go with the GA Precision AR10. $2,500 or so last I checked.

Also, what kind of mags does that thing use?

I would expect the pre-order is based on LaRue's reputation of selling quality products.  If you are the first on the block, hard to read the reviews.

Yes it is also on my "I want" list, but probably not far enough up to surface.  It's a big list with a lot of depth.

The POF's .308 are pretty nice also if you want a gas piston.

monolithic or not, that's just plain too much.

No offense, but I built a kick ass shooter with top of the line stuff for about $1800.

.8 MOA with factory ammo out of a Krieger barrel. The only thing I skimped on was the rail (Yankee Hill).

I tossed a $750 Leupold on it and $200 Larue mount (good stuff BTW).

I have about $2800 into WITH a kick ass scope and mount.

just my $.02

Yesterday I was looking at those also & they look good.
But the $3k made me think they didn't really look like $3k
I've been looking a JP in 308 for about the same price
but it really looks like $3k.. that may be just me but for
$3k, the LaRue just don't
appear to look like a $3k custom.
But that's my eye. No doubt
it will be fine rifle.

I really love this 308 by Patriot also..it's only..$2400 with a piston
