the guy sounds stupid
--------------------------------------------- http://www.buffalonews.com/city-region/eller-avenue-man-arrested-for-two-loaded-guns-20150120 A 50-year-old Eller Avenue man was arrested on felony weapons charges after he showed a police officer two loaded handguns in his home Saturday afternoon.Thomas Heard Jr. was arrested on the armed weapons counts after he was spotted drinking from a beer bottle in front of his home and was confronted. At first I was ready to rage on how the fuck is that a crime and ready for pitchforks and rabble rousing.
Then "criminal in possession of a firearm" and rage dropped to 1 (only barely miffed). -edit- Rage level back to 10. Not felon in possession of a firearm, but "criminal possession of firearm". What makes possession of a firearm unlawful especially inside one's property? What warrant did they have to enter his home? |
|
Felon with guns tells cops he has guns then proceeds to show then to the cops

Where does it say he is a felon?
In NY even touching a handgun without a permit = "criminal possession" |

The people of America have never had to fight for their freedom.
Sen Feinstein herself has said that she wants to, and supports removing liberties to bolster security. People like you and I type out "freedom" on the internet, but when it comes down to it, we will continue to let our liberties and rights be trampled on, because we never had to fight for it. We're basically armchair generals with a cowardly pussy for a soul. Now join me in going go back to watching cat videos online and having BBQs with our families as we drink lots of beer and discuss "freedom" some more, while we complain about it. |

LMFAO, we'd get about 2 members joined up and the NSA would give us a rectal exam from DHS and we would live in a box as terrorist. Protest? LMAO......"Right wing Nut jobs in DC"....that always works well. To play the game, know the rules, to WIN the game master the rules. Only problem is, we're not playing and they wont let us |

Yeah NY is "may issue" and you can't own a handgun unless you have a permit for it. One of many, many reasons I got the fuck out of there. Fucking cunts.
|
|
In your residence is misdemeanor possession UNLESS you have convictions. NOW, that is not to say specifically Felony convictions because this is New York after all, ANY criminal conviction begets a felony charge.

Welcome to Obama's America, coming to your neighborhood soon.
|
|
I'm just glad the officers made it home safe.
God bless them for upholding such fine constitutional supporting laws. |
|
And some people here want the retarded politicians in NY to have a say in CC.
|
|
Drinking a beer in front of your house is a reason to be questioned?
The guy should have walked inside and shut the door. No need to voluntarily give information. If he was not doing anything unlawfull he should not have been arrested. I am so glad that I got out of NY. |
|
From how I read it, he voluntarily went and got the guns for them without prompting? And the Ruger .22 had 8 rounds in it. Is that a SAFE act violation or is something not adding up in the story as it is written?

This is NY where a pmag is a class D felony while female genital mutilation, persistent sexual abuse, criminally negligent homicide, and 3rd degree rape are class E felonies. |

Curious how accurate the report is.
If he really said he had a gun in the house to the cops or it was a little after the fact fabrication. Like the video of the cop beating the guy while shouting "Stop grabbing my gun!" |

So having two mags loaded with 7 rounds? Or having 15 loose rounds in your pocket? This is grounds for arrest under the safe act? |
|
So, he was a felon BECAUSE he was in possession of a handgun, not a felon in possession of a handgun.
Wow, just wow. |

So a drunk volunteered to grab loaded guns that he didn't have a permit for.
What an idiot. |

The Buffalo News is a liberal leftist rag. Especially when it comes to guns. I've had no use for the paper since I potty trained my dog and my canary died.
The article has absolutely no detail as to the events or facts and I wouldn't believe anything they wrote anyway. |
