First thanks for reading - this is my first "topic" post and just felt like talking about this.

I was lucky to have some free time the past couple days so I thought I would volunteer and help man the phones at my local Bush campaign office.  I overheard the office manager tonight saying that multiple people were observing our office the other day from a parking lot that sits above and in front of the office.  She said they were taking photos and/or videotaping from their vantage point.  When the manager noticed this, she said she took her camera, walked up to the second parking lot and  took pictures of the observer's cars and their licence plates.  The people in the cars then sped off.

After hearing the story, I later visited with this manager in her office and told her she should report this and she said that she had already contacted the sheriff's office.

This whole thing totally creeps me out, especially knowing that some politically motivated, Anti-Bush freaks, may have a picture of my car and licence plate.  Even more, my wife and baby occassionally use this car to run errands.  We live in a keyed entry apartment building, so it is a little more difficult for someone to find exactly where we live.  In addition, with the whole OBL threat against Bush supporters, my level of concern is pretty high right now.  I am very tempted to call the local G-man office tommorow to MAKE SURE the proper attention to this whole thing is given.

Honestly, I cannot believe this kind of stuff in going on?! This is still America right? hinking.gif

Scare tactics only work if you let them. Don't let these clowns intimidate you. Take reasonable precautions in your day to day life, and go on with your day.

Dont let them intimidate you but dont underestimate them either. Be and stay prepared.

Post their license plate info here and the rest will magically take care of itself.

As has already been stated, don't sit at home biting your nails, but also, don't underestimate the threat. Be prepared and cognizant of your environment as you go through your day.

Thanks for the replies.  Its too bad this kind of stuff has to go on. Also, sorry, I couldn't get the licence plate numbers - that would have been interesting to say the least.  Again, thanks.
