Keep link COLD . . . . .
http://www.cnbc.com/id/18174383/ ETA: BTW, It was 37% for CCW and 63% against when I looked at it. Looks like we will swing it the other way. |

Students should be allowed to carry concealed licensed weapons on campus.
53% The massacre was an isolated incident. Banning guns on campus is still a good idea. 47% |
I too am from Ohio and have hit the poll ,it's 54/46 now. Except i hit it like a mentally challenged individual on a precussion instrument.
They're going to just keep rewording these polls until they get the results they want.
Then we shall destroy each and every poll, until they give up. I love voting in online polls (now if you call or write me a letter to take a survey you get an immediate denial. ) |
And we will keep hitting them until they give up on getting the response they want! |

voted!

Seriously guys. If you hate clicking using the cold link method just get linkification, and RefControl add-ons for FF (get BOTH). Set up RefControl to Forge or Block (I do Forge). If you want to vote in the CNN polls you can just add a custom site (polls.cnn.com) and set the referrer to custom (http://www.cnn.com)
Clicking through a hot link shows referrer information... in other words, they would see a spike in traffic coming from arfcom. |
IF YOU LOOKED CLOSER, IT'S NOT A LINK!!!!!!! |
wtf, it won't let me vote
I already purged cookies & cached files but I still get - "Your response cannot be recorded. " |
If I were to guess... and that's all I can do at this point... it's to keep the target website from knowing what the referring website was. However, if my internet-fu is correct, this only works if you open another browser that's on a different site and THEN paste the link. If you go from one site to another without some kind of masking then the next site still knows the last page you were on. Easyiest way to keep them in the dark is to go to "about:blank" and then paste the link. |
or use a browser with tabbed browsing (like Firefox) that allows you to have multiple pages active simultaneously. |
We're whupping their ass at this point. |
But it IS a hotlink! |
hahah the wording is gonna get worse and worse till they get the result they want. so transparent its pathetic
And you know this. |
