Everything is internet radio these days. I used to find tons everywhere but ever since post Napster lawsuit I haven't found any. I want modern rock/alternative downloads that I can play even when not connected to the web using Winamp. What'a think? Thanks [moon]

I'm using grokster.com. It allows downloads of just about everything...music, video, software, etc.

Try Internet relay chat (IRC). Or Newsgroups. Or Limewire. Or Gnutella.

Usenet newsgroups still exist, and there is a ton of fileswapping that goes on there. You can just pick up a download robot, like Newsbin Pro, and tell it to look at the newsgroup [blue]alt.binaries.sounds.mp3[/blue]. People post everything there, including a lot of "pre-release" recordings that won't be in the stores for another month. . . . (Or better yet, try [blue]alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.wives[/blue]. [:D]) You just need an ISP with a decent newsfeed, or else you have to buy a newsfeed from someplace like http://www.newsguy.com/ or http://www.altopia.com/.
