MEXICAN FLU or HISPANIC FLU now, we had SPANISH FLU in 1917.

After all it started in Mexico for all we know.

And the Spanish flu started in Kansas.

So why not?

Well they called it the Spanish flu b/c of the high number of deaths in Spain.  Currently Mexico has the highest number of flu related deaths, maybe it will be the Mexican Flu later on...  Hell it was called the Asian flu before too, we don't always have to be PC!
