Have any of you shot with one? What is the % of reduction? Can you feel a diffrence?

I have one in my Govt 1911 & I can feel a reduced muzzle flip. Not so much recoil reduction as flip, though.

IIRC, the company that made these are no longer in business???? Haart, or Harrt; something like that?????

Nice little invention though, IMO.

Had one in a shotgun...it was a waste of money.

I used to put Hartts in the riot 870’s where I worked.

Can’t say there was a dramatic difference, but they did seem to take some of the sting out of the slugs.

I’ve often wondered, though, if the difference was caused by the mercury and steel balls sloshing around, or simply by the extra weight in the buttstock.

I have one in my side by each 12 gauge.  I can't notice the difference.  I have another sitting on my shelf that I keep saying I am gonna put in my Rem 700 .308, but I just am not sure it is worth the effort......

IIRC, Springfield Armory Inc was selling these at Perry a while back.

The M1As were falling from favor among the P100 shooters, as the ARs were taking off and running.

SA was selling these as a 'Too little too late' last ditch attempt to keep selling rifles to Service Rifle shooters.
