Does anybody know of anyone who sells M40-A1s?  I keep seeing Draegers and Avons (At widely varying prices), but would really prefer to have what the Corps currently uses.

The reason I'm asking is that my girlfriend said that I should get us a couple (I have a couple of old Israelis, but what I've read hasn't impressed me much about them).  Man, I love a woman that thinks ahead.  She wants a 1911 , an 870, and an AR, with "plenty of ammo".  I think I may shed a tear of joy!

I don't know of any mail order places offhand.  A surplus store a couple of towns over gets 'em in on occasion, in carrying bag, with some of the accessories.  Sells 'em for about $80.  FWIW.

the m40 were coming out when i first got in that wasnt very long ago what mask are they going to be uesing now?

Thanks for the info, folks.  It was my understanding that the Advantage had some problems, and interfered with the use of a weapon, though I don't believe everything I hear.

I like the Draegers, and they are quality, but I wanted to make sure that I could come up with parts through the supply chain.

The M40 was being replaced by the M40-A1, last I heard, so that was what I was asking for.  If there is yet another model coming out, let me know.

All in all, I think I'll get the Draeger for now, and make sure that it has the NBC filters with it (and a few spares).
