Nope.
The only bayonet attachment that I know of is part of the flash suppressor - that means with just one part you've added two evil features creating a post-ban assault rifle. The M1A has a detachable magazine and normally comes with a flash suppressor - just one evil feature so it's OK. Here in California you can have no evil features so Springfield has a special worthless muzzle brake to swap out for $85. |

Actually the muzzle brake is not worthless. I find that it is more useful than the flash suppressor that originally came with it. It reduces recoil and muzzle rise noticeably.

I thought they counted detachable mags as a evil feature so wouldn't that make it 3 evil features and in that it wouldn't be illegal to have a bayonet?

Postban M1A means no bayonet. There's no lug and the feds frown on people replacing the flash suppressor with one with a bayo lug. You'd think they have other things to think about . . .
