Former CNN Headline News anchor Lynne Russell and her husband, former CNN correspondent Chuck De Caro faced off against a robber at an Albuquerque, N.M. motel. De Caro shot and killed the thief.
Russell, in a text, told me De Caro himself was shot three times by the robber, twice in the abdomen, but is expected to survive. Russell was not hurt. Good for you, Chuck. Take three to the abdomen, return fire and kill your attacker. Well done!
