It sucks feeling lousy on a holiday. Especially when other people are having a good time without you. Get well soon.

Yeah, it's lousy but it beats freezing your ass off out in BFE, a long way from home. Look at Belgium, 1944 for example.

Man, you've got to check all of he meds in your medicine cabinet. I know that combining the medicine together can save space, but man, some medications even over-the-counter types, can be dangerous when you when take double-doses.

I am with ya - got the same thing - Although if the box says take two, I am a 4-5 kinda guy. The average weight in this country is supposed to be around 180lbs. I was in that range about the time I started high school. Beside I kinda like that flying feeling while not being able to feel the tips of my fingers. At least I can breathe!

1Gunrunner- If one is good, two is great so, ten must be fantastic. At least that's what my father thought with some experimental meds. He should have known better as he was a long time pharmacist. After 30 days, the doctor called him to ask how many he had taken. He should have taken 30 but he had taken 300. The doc informed him that he was a dead man as the meds were a very potent carcinogen. Officers of the corporation making the drug were going to prison. My father developed cancer from the top of his head to the soles of his feet. READ THE F**KING INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!!!! marsh

I'm with Gunrunner on this one. I'm 6'2" 250lbs and when I have a headache big enough to warrant me taking medications then I'm to the point where a couple of Tylenol just ain't gonna cut it. I usually take 4-5. When I had surgery on my leg a couple of years ago I was eating 750mg Vicodin like they were candy, 10-15 (during the hours I was awake) a day for a couple of weeks straight till the pain was tolerable then I quit taking them. All the stuff on the shelf now is well tested and recommended in doses much lower than what is actually tolerable. While I'm not one to sit around taking pills all day long, if I'm sick enough or in enough pain to take anything, you can bet your ass I'm gonna take enough to at least fell a little better and in a hurry.
