A gas station owner took the law into his own hands after a would-be robber broke in.
The alleged robber was shot three times and died.

A robber was shot and killed, not a looter.

Burglary is generally the nocturnal entering of a dwelling place with intent to commit a theft or felony therein.
Robbery is the taking of the chattel of another through force or fear.

Now, a burglary can become a robbery if said burglar came across the homeowner and resorted to force or fear to accomplish that theft.

Heck, so long as the naughty person is shot and killed, it's all good to me.

Libtard writer.

The warning, however, did not prevent bloodshed at Fuel City on University Drive in Huntsville early Friday morning. A gas station owner took the law into his own hands after a would-be robber broke in.

"Took the law into his own hands..."? What kind of bullshit is that?

Happy ending indeed.
Link Posted: 4/29/2011 9:03:16 PM EDT
More of this might make looters think twice.

Common law. As statutory law came in, things like nocturnal was struck out as was dwelling place and even "therein." Modernly it's entering a structure with intent to commit a felony or theft. I popped a shoplifter once for burglary and cited that he had only eleven cents on him and carried an empty duffle bag with him when he entered the store. The public defender had him plea to a lesser charge (attempted petty theft).

In Alabama burglary is entering a building with intention commit a felony within

Robbery is the forceful taking of another persons property or something similar.

They just wanted to reserve their seats on the train, in case it wrecks.

I prefer sitting n the caboose, myself.

Adds to the horror as you get to watch the front cars get smashed before yours derails.

Good shoot. But is this legal?

It's part of the city of Huntsville's new ordinance passed Wednesday night mandating a dusk to dawn curfew. Those who are out after dark face the possibility of arrest.

It took two people to write that tripe!

Whatever they graduated from –– I'd bet that it was quite recently, and NOT a Post-Grad level course of study.

I'm not so sure about that. 30 years ago I might think differently, but now, it's very possible. I see college grads that write so pathetically that I can only shake my head in amazement.
