I want to get a photoshop program. I will probably buy a download as I have broadban and it is less expensive. What version should I get? Who has the best price? I just want to be ablt to edit and play with photos. No video, or anything too advanced. Thanks for any info or links.

If that's your criteria, get either Adobe Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro (from Jasc Software). You'll save hundreds of dollars and still have powerful photo editing tools.

Does anyone have a link to a free photoeditor? All I have is paint, and even with my mad paint skills everything still looks like crap compared to photoshop.

You can download a free 30 day trial of any adobe product.

Sounds like Photoshop Elements 3.0 would work well for you and it's only $78 at Sam's Club.

If you want the latest and greatest you want CS2(ver 9)...CS3 is in the works, but not out yet.
