Looking for original AR A1 upper

I have been looking for the original style AR15 A1 uppers minus the barrel. The ones without the deflector. I have search the for sale forums and have found nothing. Does any one know where I can find one? Thanks

what u want is a sp1 upper ie m16a1/ar15 most of em will have the birdcage flash hider well atleast the ones ive seen and the one i haev (came that way from colt) the earler ones have the 3 prong so u will pobly want to just buy one with the bird cage and replace it wit ha 3 prong

Check your mail I might have what you want. A Colt A1 with no FA and no brass deflector and also a Colt A1 with FA and no brass defelctor.

Should be a lot of them out there the way people butcher colector items.

I've have a complete Colt SP-1 upper with bolt assembly, I'd like to sell as a unit,if you can part out the bolt carrier and barrel it will leave you with the upper receiver/charging handle. Its in excellent condition. $300.
