A couple weeks ago, I saw a thread wherein someone had posted an interesting article about an oil-production technology that was capable of converting carbon-based substrates to oil - sewage, chicken bones, whatever.  According to the article, the process has been in development for over 10 years & holds significant promise.

Anyone remember the article & have a link?

Thanks

Do a Google for "Thermal Depolymerization".  I think that's the process you're referring to.

The process just screams expensive to me, but interesting nonetheless.
