Jim - correct that address, it's ABRAMS.  My cousin (Mr. Morelock - ha!) and I are taking our wives out to dinner tomorrow night and will be in the area.  Doubt he'll be there on a sat night, so you tell me what you want the note to say that will be taped to his door.

Hello,
I have emailed that Dealer to refund your $15.00 fee  to you .
Josh I want to pass on this deal , I wanted to send it next day UPS
this dealer wants it shipped through the Post Office , Iam Sorry that we
could not have
worked a trade deal that we both could have felt comfortable with . I would
like to Say
that if you deal very much through the internet and you plan on buying and
selling and trading
that you may have to trust people alittle more in the future .  for my self
I have the positive feedback
and references to satisfy just about anyone that I deal with . I have a
offer to trade the whole rifle to a dealer
for a Leupold so I think that is the best route for me to take .  I would
like to Thank you for your Time
and your effort.  in this transaction.

THIS is From his Dealer
now after i received this i tried to find a phone number for this dealer and i checked for a FFL under the name that he gave , i didnt find one also .

Hello,
Thank you for the email , Please return the $15.00 fee to Josh .
this deal /trade i still do not feel comfortable with it , i wanted to send
it
next day UPS and not through the Post Office .
Thank you for your time and effort .

Hey Tate, check out the threads on Bowers' Board of Inquiry.  Turns out that's a Mailboxes, Etc. he's ripping people off out of.  Don't screw up your dinner plans.

James,
This is yet another of his scams, there is no FFL on his end only him. There are about 7 diffrent names/email he goes by but allways the same address. He has been collectiong FFL for trans. that he never compleated, and the ATF is now looking in to it because of this. If i had my way(still might) id be down there looking him up my self. (still can fly space-a for free)

A little heads up for everyone that missed it.

PMB = postal mail box.  That is why he wanted the shipment via the US post office.  If you tried to ship something through UPS or FedEx to the PMB, they would tell you that they don't ship to post office boxes.

Then you might start to wonder how an FFL got a license with a post office box as his address.  Kind of hard to run a gun business out of a post office box!

Hopefully they will catch this guy at the Mail Boxes Ect.

Mailboxes, Etc. uses PMB designations for their boxes.  I use one for all my gun dealings--I don't trust the idiots at the front desk at my apartment to take care of a package.  I get UPS, FED Ex, Etc. delivered all the time there.

However, you may want to file charges with the local PD where the delivery was made.  Mailboxes does require some kind of ID before you open your box, which may help track the idiots down.
