I've recently gotten a new computer with a DVD/RW.  I've played with the cheesy software that came with it, "My DVD" (Dell Computer), and have decided there has got to be better software out there.  

Does anyone use any DVD writing/authoring software that you would recommend?

As far as what I need it to do, is just basically do the writing and setup of the menus and such.  I use Pinnacle Systems Studio 7 to make edit movies from my digital video cam.  I really like this software, but this version does not support DVD authoring.  I can save movies into .avi, mpeg, stream or just back to the video cam.  I would like to send these files to the DVD.  This "My DVD" software keeps crashing on me all the time.

Any recommendations would sure be appreciated.

I do have the Roxio CD Creator 5, but it doesn't look like it does as much as I would like it to.
