Penny is for scale. If you're not too good at scale, it's a soprano ukulele.

I picked it up at a music store about 5 blocks from my dorm. It's real (not a cheap toy like an airport souvenir) and cost $25. And it sounds great. Who says the good things in life have to cost a lot of money?

Now, since I dress like a blind hobo, cultivate unusual facial hair, and have an instrument that is just esoteric enough without being ridiculous, I think that makes me the biggest hipster on ARFCOM.
