Picked up a very nice Monson 4" .357 at a pawn shop a while back for $280+tax - no box, extra barrels or tool, nothing but a cheap leather holster.

ETA: I think I read somewhere that CZ-USA is going to offer service or parts on these. I'd love to have a 6" barrel.

I picked this Monson model up as it sits from a local shop for $175.........

Took it right out on the range and drilled holes any carpenter bee would make love to, after it heated up the group was two holes, but it might have been me, the first couple had me harder than a crab,,

I have one 25 yard taget that was .85ish, fuckin score,,,,, oh, is this the wrong forum...

Wow, nice score! You stole that.

Mine is one of the nicest, most solid, pretty revolvers I've ever met.

I'm with ya on the solid part. This one is weird, it has 100,000 miles of what looks like leather holster wear, somebody carried the monster every friggen day, but it shows almost no signs of having been fired, and mechanically it's rock solid. There are a few spots that are worn down to the white..

I'm going to send it out and have it refinished, Brushed hard chrome, gonna be awesome.

Considering my opinion of Spongebob, the gun is pointing the wrong way.

Never thought of that. It's got the heaviest barrel weight.
