According to a local welding shop that sits in front of the building where where I work, they were offered a job in Washington state welding shackles inside of railway cars. Now what needs shackling in railway cars?

This tin foil stuff is getting out of hand.

There's no welders in WA that can do it?

They're going to pay a shop in MT to travel out there just to weld to the inside of box cars?

ETA: maybe it's like seatbelts for hobos.

Now there's a credible source, almost as good a hearing it in a bar.

Does the arfcom management post this kind of stuff just to keep the fun rolling?

If so, it works.

This place (GD) would be nothing without the batshit crazy conspiracy crap.

Shoot man, my co-worker's full-time job is welding those things to rail cars all day everyday. He tells me about it all the time. Once, they even forgot to clean one of the cars out and there was a skeleton still shackled to it!

Plausible. Nothing isn't anymore. For fucks sake, all you tinfoil folks mocked the idea of a world currency for years here and now our treasury secretary, and most European leaders, including front page stories on the WSJ, are talking about it.

Why would people be shackled in railcars? This isn't 1939.
They (you know, them) would just use a bus.

Whats the shops name and who was offering the job?

Welding isnt fucking rocket science, Im sure the .gov could get one of their own to do the welding.....

I didn't know Hitler was living in the US of A and hiring................. Maybe it's all a part of Obama's ne plan to put welders back to work...... Just sayin'...........

This is why I thoroughly hope that guy from Popular Mechanics that Glen Beck has looking into the FEMA camp bullshit tells us all next week what we already know - it's 100% BS. Maybe then some people will calm the fuck down, if Beck says it...

I still maintain that if the government and FEMA had HALF, or even 1/4 of the purported 600 camps... they would have used them during Katrina, instead of the fucking super dome.
Link Posted: 3/27/2009 2:04:43 PM EDT
What, exactly, would you need shackles for? That would take forever to shackle everyone down.

You just pack em in like sardines and lock the doors. They aren't going anywhere.

Link Posted: 3/27/2009 2:05:01 PM EDT
Shackle doesn't only mean handcuff.

There's a wide variety of items that are named shackle. Here's one of many:

So your argument is that if a broken clock is right twice a day, it must be right all the time?

Btw - what financial experts are talking about, and the tinfoil bullshit about the NWO and a global conspiracy, are two completely different things.

Plausible.

Financial experts, eh? LOL

Man all this crazy talk. I'm just curious to know why they put shackles in railcars. I did rail loading for the Army and we used a slide shackle on flatbeds.

Wow!

I heard the same bullshit rumor back when Bill Clinton took office.

Will this ever end?

I mean, seriously, the Nazis didn't waste time with shackles in railroad cars. Why would Obama and the Democrats?

Geez.

As a fellow citizen of said state... I'm not too concerned about said "nutcase" being on the street. Who's to say that he's not telling the truth??? That someone at that shop told him this. Maybe the nutcase is working at the shop. Yeah... it could be a total sham by the poster himself. But maybe he is being truthful in his post. I guess I'm just not as cynical as most here. I tend to take people at their word until it's obvious I shouldn't. Low post count is no more disqualification for me than the "wisdom" of the self-appointed Arfcom oracles is a qualification of truth.
