If anyone else has any to add to this list, feel free. I didn't bother with the AK, as we know that the AK is pretty much every 3rd world shithole's weapon of choice. I was most interested in posting the more unique weapons.

I've seen G3s, Galils and M16s in Mexico. Pakistan issues G3 knockoffs as well as Kalashnikovs. Iraq issues new AK47s--I think Romanian but don't quote me on that. The Coalition bought a bunch of them. Israel issues the Galil as well as the ones quoted, although it isn't popular with people who regularly go "on the sharp end". They also issue M1 carbines in both standard and bullpup stocks to reservists. In Colombia the 7.62mm Galil is popular with the troops.

Denmark - Diemaco C7/C8   (the national guard/reserves MIGHT still use the HK G3)

So now the question becomes...

Where did they film the movie HEAT: Belgium, Sweden, or Indonesia?

No.  Its because French law prevents them from firing the workers who make them.

It seems the INSAS from India is the only "new" military weapon developed over the last decade or so that uses a wooden stock and forearm. Wonder why they stuck with wood over plastic/polymer/fiberglass?

How standard is the QBZ95 in Chicom service?

I've seen pics of them using the type 68 (looks like an unholy cross-breed between an AK and an SKS)
