I ordered a few of the +10% power Beretta mag springs and had them shipped to my unit before last deployment.  After test firing, I had no worries about my own personal M9 mags...

Finish Line Sporting Goods:  10% discount--you usually have to ask for it, except at the Cross Creek Mall in Fayetteville.

IMO:  Lowes and Home Depot are just a Veterans Day and Memorial Day deal.

Most of the retail outlets around Ft Hood don't offer military discounts...which made my trip to visit family near Ft Sill very surprising as most places around Sill DO offer military discounts.

I will start off, AT&T wireless give a 19% military discount, you have to ask for it.

I've got the foundation account number (the code for the discount) if anyone needs it.  Current subscribers can get added and your calls to ATT are routed to "Business Customer Care" which means you will talk to someone right here in the US, not have your call outsourced to India.

I guess you have already listed AT&T, but I got this in an email from military.com:  "Military personnel and their families get $25 off new activations and receive special discounts on service & equipment."

You have to register at military.com and sign up for their newsletters (for lack of a better word).

Many, but not all Chick-Fil-A's give discounts to military. IIRC, the one I worked at gave military in uniform there meals for free. If it wasn't free it was 50%.

To receive the Glock LEO % military discount it must be from a "Law Enforcement Dealer". Some of them don't know about it. Just ask them to call Glock. All that is required is a photo copy of your military ID.

Lowes no longer has the discount.  When I asked why, the woman told me that they got a memo that said they only gave a discount because Home Depot did.  Home Depot stopped doing it, so Lowes did too.  Good thing I spent $3000 there the week before.

Lowe's and Home Depot never have in the DFW area, but they do on Veteran's and memorial day, as posted earlier.  I just want to remind you all that not every place has a posted policy, and some will instantly come up with one.
When I got back from Afghanistan in '03, my buddy in Colordo Springs would never hesitate to tell people I had jut gotten back. Free beer, pool, golf, even a huge truck inner tube for tubing down Pikes Peak.
When I returned home I needed work done on my car.  When they handed me the bill, I jokingly said "So, is that before or after the 'just got back from Afghanistan discount?'" My parts and labor have been 30% off ever since.
Wonder what the "just got back from Iraq" discounts will be like?
