They're marginally better than Nickleback.

I don't have any of their music, but I do like them. Their style is somewhat similar to the stuff Faith No More was doing in 1989.

I liked them at first, but then decided their songs all sound really whiny.

Any band that uses a DJ and songs don't sound the same from track to track is OK with me.

I like them.

Nickleback sucks dead rockey mountain oysters..Unless you are a chick, then I guess it would be OK to like them.

I met the band once.  They seemed like pretty down to earth guys who cared about their music.  They weren't stuck up nor whiny.  I talked one of the lead singers for about 15 min, real nice guy that could admit he had problems like everyone else, but at the same time, other peoples problems were as important as his.

Gee, that's sort of the same as asking if I'd rather have a bleach enema or a tabasco enema. Having said that, I think I have to give the edge to Nickelback. It's really a non-issue for me, however.

I take it record sales isn't a qualifier?  I haven't followed them in awhile, but isn't Mike Patton now working nights at KFC?

Catchy but can't stand them really.  Whingy sad-boy "metal".  There's an mp3 somewhere with two of their songs mixed together, one in the left channel, one in the right, same progression, chorus, scale, formula, etc.  kind of sad.  And the dj.  lol.  I'm all for seeing turntablism attempted within metal/rock, but it doesn't work at all in linkin park.  "wicky wicky" scratches don't cut it for me. Just a marketing gimick imo.  Speaking of marketing gimmick, I think they were founded/put together by the same guy that put the New Kids on the Block and those other boy bands together.  I'd still rather listen to them than any of that emo/screamo shit floating about, waiting to get flushed.

Flawed poll.  No "They Suck."  They are a band that was put together by the record company and the company dumped alot of money to promote them.  Metal boyband.

i love their music, but i'm not a big fan of the jay-z album, and i hate even more that they havent come out with any new music since their debut over 4 years ago.  remixes dont count, i've been thorougly disappointed in them.

their sound was awesome.

FNM broke up in '98 and actually he works at Pep Boys.  If you guess the correct answer to "What is it?" you get a free oil change.

Actually, that's Nickleback you're thinking of with the left and right channel mix:

Can't stand their music anymore. I was into the whole pseudo-metal hormonal angst thing for about 4 months, then I got into the harder, and eventually, the more avante-garde stuff. Now my playlist shuffles between Miles Davis, Medieval folk, art-rock, classical, and even blues, bluegrass and folk. My sister's now getting into the harder scream-as-loud-as-you-can music which, save for a few decent melodies between the screams, have lyrics not much more substantive than LP.

Of course, everything's a matter of opinion, I just don't care for 'em.
